This privacy policy (”Privacy Policy) governs the processing of your personal data as part of your use of our Website (the “Website”) and the services related to this (jointly referred to as the “Services”). This processing is carried out by Pami as the data controller, with registered office at Industrielaan 20, 3900 Pelt (“we”, “us”), registered in the CBE under number 0434.820.019, in accordance with the relevant legislation on the protection of personal data.

By using our Website and/or Services, you agree that you have read this Privacy Policy carefully and agree to it without reservation. We retain the right to amend the Privacy Policy regularly at our discretion.

What & why we process data
When you use the Website and/or Services, we process your personal data for business and other lawful purposes:

In principle we obtain the above personal data directly from you. In addition to that stated above, we may also process your personal data:
  • To provide you in a personalised and efficient manner with the information about products and services you request, either via the website, e-mail, telephone or social media channels.
  • To process your personal data so that we can provide a correct service.
  • For direct marketing purposes, i.e. to provide you with targeted communication, promotions, offers and other advertisements.
  • To carry out statistical analyses to improve our Website and/or Services, or to develop new products or services.

We share your data
  • In principle Pami nv does not share any personal data with third parties. However some services require the involvement of third parties.
  • We may make use of external processors to provide you with an optimum website. We ensure that third processors may only process your personal data in our name, and on written instructions from us.
  • We will not send your personal data in an identifiable form to third parties if this is not required to provide the services, without your written permission for this purpose.
  • We may transfer anonymised data to other organisations which may use these data to improve products and services and to customise the organisation of the marketing, presentation and sale of products.
  • We may pass your personal data to third parties if we are legally obliged to do this or if this is necessary to prevent and identify fraud and/or other criminal offences and/or to guarantee network and information security.
Where we process data
  • We ourselves and our external processors will only process your identifiable personal data in the European area.
  • We may transfer your anonymised data outside the European area. If such transfer occurs, we will ensure that there are appropriate safeguards to guarantee the security and integrity of your personal data, and that all rights relating to personal data that you may enjoy under the applicable law are guaranteed.
How we process data
  • We will do our very best only to process your personal data we need to achieve the purposes stated in this policy. We will process your personal data in a lawful and transparent manner. We will also do our very best to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date.
  • Your personal data will only be processed until the moment you withdraw your consent for the processing thereof. This withdrawal of consent may mean that you are no longer able to use the Website and/or Services wholly or in part.
  • We will take the appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised use or theft and against unintentional loss, manipulation or destruction. Access by our employees or employees of our external processors is only possible on a need-to-know basis and is subject to strict confidentiality obligations.
Your rights in respect of personal data
  • You have the right to request access to all personal data we process about you. Requests for access that are apparently submitted with a view to causing nuisance or damage for us will, however, not be dealt with.
  • You have the right to request that all your personal data that are incorrect or inaccurate are corrected free of charge.
  • You have the right to withdraw consent you gave previously for the processing of your personal data. You can do this by sending an e-mail to marketing@pami.be.
  • Instead of asking us to delete your data, you may also ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data if (a) the correctness of these data is disputed, (b) the processing is unlawful or (c) the data are no longer required for the stated purposes, but you need them to defend yourself in legal proceedings.
  • You have the right to object to the processing of data if you can demonstrate that there are serious and justified reasons related to special circumstances and that justify such objection. However, if the intended processing is not considered as direct marketing, you have the right to object to such processing free of charge and without justification.
  • If your personal data are processed on the basis of consent or on the basis of a contract and the data are processed by automated means, you may receive the personal data you have provided in a structured format.
  • If you wish to submit a request for one or more of the above rights, please send an e-mail to marketing@pami.be. In this request you must state clearly which right you wish to exercise and why. It must also be dated and signed and accompanied by a digitally scanned copy of your identity card. If the request is found to be justified, we will grant it as quickly as reasonably possible and no later than thirty (30) days after receipt of the request.
  • You can always contact us if you have a problem with the processing of your personal data by us. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may submit a complaint to the competent data protection authority, the Belgian privacy commission.
